Daily Update--May 20/11

ELA--The students should have the rough draft of their persuasive essay completed for Tuesday. We will then be typing it, having a peer edit and a self edit before the good copy is completed. Hopefully the final copy can be completed by the end of next week. Students are also working on the rough draft of the vocabulary scene. The due date for this assignment will depend on the time given to work on it next week. The vocabulary test will probably be the end of next week. The second book project is also due by the end of next week.

Math--10.2 in the textbook--#4,9,10, and 16 by Tuesday.

Health--The chart on the muscle injuries is due next class.

Carman Collegiate is hosting two Track and Field Meets in the next few weeks. If any students are interested in participating in the Gr. 5-8 Invitational Meet on May 26, they need to sign up with me and pay $2 to Kyla by Tuesday. The meet will run from 1:00 to 5:00 next Thursday. The Hershey Track Meet is on June 2 and the students also need to sign up with me. There is a minimum of 2 entries per meet. Hopefully we will have many students interested in the meets.
