Daily Update--April 30/12

Tonight the students need to put ample time aside to prepare for tomorrow's Ancient Greece test. Hopefully they were reviewing on the weekend.

ELA--They should have chapter 2 read, and need to answer the remainder of the questions on the first page of their booklet. The journal entry is due Wednesday. The vocabulary activity is due tomorrow.

Math--Textbook page 385-386--#3,5,7,9,11,12 and 13 are due Wednesday.

Science--Calculations worksheet is due tomorrow.

Science--Flow rate is due tomorrow. Work on your 3 point approach which is due Friday.

French--Your paragraphs are due Friday.

I will be away for the next two days as I am attending an inservice on the new report cards that our division will be piloting next year. I will not have a blog entry for those two days, but hopefully the students will listen in class and record the homework into their agendas.

ELA--Vocabulary --synonyms and antonyms chart for the novel is due tomorrow. Oral IRP's will continue tomorrow.

ELA--Students need to answer questions #2,3,4,and 5as well as #9,10,and11 for chapter 1 in the novel, I Am David for tomorrow. We also have a new vocabulary unit for the novel so the synonym and antonym page is due for Wednesday. Oral IRP'S will continue tomorrow.

Science--Your commercials are due tomorrow.

SS--In your Webquest, please have #1 to 12 due tomorrow.  Unit test next week.

ELA--Students need to finish reading chapter one in our novel, I Am David, for Monday. Oral IRP's will continue on Monday. Students know who will be presenting on Monday.

Math--Unit test corrections and signatures are due Monday. We also started unit 10 and have assigned worksheet #10.1 for Monday. Complete all questions 1 through 10 omitting #7.

Science--The commercial is due Tuesday, April 24.

SS--We are working on the Web Quest but no specific questions are assigned for homework over the weekend.

ELA--The students have 30 minutes tomorrow morning to put any last minute changes to their persuasive essay which needs to be handed in by 1:20 tomorrow. We spokw of all information that must be handed in. Three oral IRP's are due tomorrow as well. If anyone did not complete their I Am David questions today, them must be shown to me tomorrow.

Math--Get unit test signed.

SS--Get Map Quiz signed and returned to class.

Science--Work on your commercial.

Math--Textbook page 361--#11 and 14, and the handout pg. 263 #1 and 2, and page 356--#4,6,7 for Monday. The unit test is on Tuesday.
