Friday, Sept.10/10

Hello! Welcome to a new school year!

I must say that I have had a wondeful first week with 8T students, as well as with all grade 8 students. I hope the students feel the same way. We have had an fantastic beginning to the new school year, and I hope the enthusiasm will continue.

For homework this weekend, students are to read for atleast 20 minutes ( but hopefully more than that) as part of their endeavour to reach their September reading goal by Sept. 30.

In Social Studies, they are to complete the first page of the Scavenger Hunt. Most of the students completed it in class.

Students are reminded to bring in their registration forms and $5.00 paper fee into the office. Pledge sheets for the Terry Fox Run (Sept. 30) were handed out today, so hopefully students can begin collecting pledges.

Students have my home number if you need to call or have any questions.
Have an enjoyable weekend!
The next entry/update will be on Monday.
