Daily Update--May 29/09

ELA--Jeopardy style test on Shakespeare will be written on Tuesday. Please review your notes again.

Math--No official homework for the weekend, but there will be an Algebra test next Thursday or Friday, so please review some of your sheets over the weekend. More review sheets will be sent home starting Monday.

SS--Projects were handed in today. Presentations will start on Wednesday.

Health--Some great presentations occurred today!!! More next week.

Two letters were sent home today--re:Track Meet (next Tuesday) and ELA assessment (next Wednesday and Thursday).

ELA--A few students have not handed in their assignments which were due today. They must be handed in tomorrow by 9.

Math--Graphs from # 12 a,b,c are due as well as page 371--#1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7 for tomorrow.

SS--Vocabulary Projects are due Friday at noon.

Health--You have tomorrow's class to work and anyone who wants to present on Friday can do so, otherwise you will present Tuesday.

ELA--Shakespeare timeline is due Tuesday.

Math--Worksheet 6.3---# 5, 6 a and b, #7 a and c, #8 c and , #9 b ,and #12 by tomorrow.

Science--Aims #21 and #22 are due tomorrow.

Health--Start researching your chosen culture and decide what aspect of that culture that you will present to the class.

ELA--Shakespeare timeline due either by Friday or next Tuesday, depending if you need the time and/or what to use the long weekend to finish it.

Math--Mid-unit Algebra quiz tomorrow. JOurnal entry due by Wednesday.

Science--Concept outline and Aim #20 due by Wednesday.

SS--Magazines are due Thursday by the end of class,so your editors are needing and wanting your rough drafts by tomorrow.

Remember we are going to the Goldeyes' game tomorrow so dress accordingly. Pack a bag lunch, and you can bring some spending money if you would like to. We leave at 10:30 and will return by 3:30.

--If you have not handed in your movie review as of yet, it is due Monday.
--The last few character day presentations will be held on Monday and Tuesday.

I have tried not to give much homework for the weekend, as the students should spend the weekend honouring their mothers and grandmothers, so enjoy the weekend Moms. Happy Mother's Day!
