ELA--Creative writing due Monday if you have not handed it in yet.
--Book project deadline--Friday,NOv. 7.
--Any overdue assignments must be in by Monday.

Math--Unit test next week. One concept left to review.

Science--Some cells were not handed in today. They are due Monday.
--Test on the diagram and function of the organelles in the animal cell will be on Wednesday.

Scrapbook and porfolio binder should be in school.

ELA--Creative writing piece is due tomorrow or Monday.
--Due date for book projects is Nov.7. Try to have 4 or more.
--There are still names on the board for incomplete assignments. Get them done!

Math--Journals were due today.
--Assignment--#3 c and d, #7a,b,c #9,#11 d,e,f #12 b and #20 for tomorrow.

Science--Cell models are due tomorrow. Do not forget your design process,too.
--A few more signed tests need to be handed in.


Signed letters are needed. We are working on our scrapbooks tomorrow so please have them in school.

Bring the signed portion of your information letter to school tomorrow. You need your portfolio binder and scrapbook at school asap.

ELA--Review for your vocabulary test on Wednesday. You were given some crosswords to study from,as well as using your unit work booklet.
--Work on your book projects.

Science--Work on your cell model which is due by the end of the week.
--Hand in signed tests.

You need to bring a scrapbook and an empty binder to school asap. Show the info letter to your parents, have them sign it, and bring the signed portion back to school tomorrow.

--Creative writing is due WED. Be prepared to hand in all steps(processes) with the good copy.
--Vocabulary EVIDENCE OF LEARNING is due by the end of the week.
--Novel SUMMARY AND REFLECTIONS is due Thursday.

Math--Have your test corrections done and your test corrected for tomorrow.

ELA--The synonym and antonym page of the vocabulary booklet is due tomorrow.
--Have the character map for the novel completed by Friday.

Math--Complete the worksheet by tomorrow.
--We will be writing a mid-unit test next week,Tuesday, if our review goes well.

SS--Continue working on your personal timeline. You can hand it in any day now until next Wednesday. Remember to make it as creative as possible.

ELA--Finish reading the first chapter of the novel, The Outsiders for tomorrow. Draw a mind map--character map of the characters introduced in the first chapter. Use the descriptions that S.E.Hinton includes in the chapter. Include physical and personal characteristics in the map. Use colours and/or shapes to connect your characters. This map is due Thursday.

S.S.--Continue on your personal timeline. BRING THE material to class so you can work on it.

Health--Read the next few pages of the booklet and answer the four questions at the bottom of the page.

We will have our reading party tomorrow so if you offered to bring something for the party,please remember to have it in school tomorrow. Thank-you!

We have read over 23000 pages in the month of September and, because we have surpassed our monthly goal, we will celebrate with a party on Wednesday. Certain students will be asking for some materials to bring to class for the party. If you have any questions, please phone or email me.
