ELA--Bio-poem is due Tuesday
--Calendar is due Oct.4
--First reading response should be in around Oct.6

Math--Page 23, #9, 11 a and b, #12 a and b, 15 and 17c due Monday. Mid unit test end of next week so start to review. Come to extra help.

We had great weather for our Terry Fox Run today. A total of money raised has not been determined as of yet but we should have that next week. A few signed Science tests and information letters still need to come in to class.

Math--Page 22#4,6,7a and b, 10 a and b due Friday.

Science--Get test signed and returned to school asap.

Terry Fox Run is tomorrow. Please bring your pledge sheets and money. Dress for the weather. Bring your signed information letter (bottom portion) in ASAP.

--Bio-poem rough draft for Thursday/Friday so we can edit.
--Good copy of Bio-poem is due next Tuesday.

Math--No homework.

Science--Worksheet due Thursday. Get quiz signed and returned tomorrow.

Daily Update--Sept. 25,2006

Hello everyone! Finally I have this blog up and working. I apologize for any inconviences the delay may have caused. Now for the homework update...

ELA--Students are reading every evening. Their Sept. calendar/reading goal is due October 4.
--Vocabulary test for Unit 1 will be written on Thursday. Students should be reviewing every evening. We have discussed some study techniques.

Math--Page 19--#1 a to d, #2 a to d, and #3 a to d (due tomorrow).

Health--Class 8A--Health Triangle is due today.
--Class 8B--Health Triangle is due Wednesday, but if they wanted an extra mark it was to be handed in today.

Terry Fox Run is on Friday, so students are encouraged to gather pledges before then. A T-shirt is being given away to the top fund-raiser. A Moose jersey will also be given away in a draw. For every $ 10.00 a student has raised, their name will be placed in the draw box.

I handed out a letter that students should be bringing home tonight. Please sign it and have the bottom portion returned to school. I hope to continue with such informational letters each month.
